Philosophy comes from a combination of two Greek words: “philo“, which means love; and “sophia” which means knowledge. Being curious, searching for answers, dissecting information, are all qualities of a philosopher. A philosopher is not only a believer, but his/her believes are strengthened through knowledge. A philosopher is not only a scientist, but he/she is a lover and understands how limited science really is.

A modern philosopher should continue the path of classic philosophers who expanded our knowledge, opened our eyes to different possibilities, and did so with love. Not all of their premises were right, but many of them weren’t wrong. At the end we are all humans, and we all can be right and wrong… but if we are philosophers we keep our minds open and keep asking questions while we find our answers.
